Dhaka-(UNB)- Chittagong DSA will meet BKSP in the final of the 20th National Youth Cricket Championship on Friday at Thakurgaon.

Chittagong confirmed their final berth beating Comilla DSA by 30 runs in the second semi-final yesterday (Wednesday).

Earlier, BKSP booked a seat for the final with a two-wicket win over Jessore DSA in the first semi-final on Tuesday.

In the day’s semis, a four-wicket haul by Aftab helped Chittagong to reach the final dismissing Comilla DSA for 154 runs in reply to Chittagong’s 184 runs.

Comilla were all out for 154 with 20 balls to spare. Number six batsman Bikash scored team highest 42 runs off 53 balls while one down Wasels added 24 off 55 balls.

Aftab’s four wickets cost 25 runs in 9.4 overs. Mithu, Tanveer, Arafat, Monu, Adnan and Rana took one wicket apiece.

Earlier, Chittagong made 184 for all in 49.5 overs after deciding to bat first. The highest 65 runs came from extras while opener Nazim contributed 41 runs off 92 balls and Shabib added 33 off 50 balls.

Moni was the most successful bowler for Comilla claiming three wickets for 29 runs while Russel, Ashiq and Jems took two wickets each.
